ShutterDock allows users to capture selected areas of their screen and create user-initiated screen recordings.

ShutterDock records only after user action, shows visible recording status, and stores recordings locally.

Screenshots and recordings are processed locally on the user's Mac.

Screenshots and recordings are not uploaded to our servers.

Screenshots and recordings are not shared with third parties by ShutterDock.

Screenshots and recordings remain on the user's device unless the user chooses to save, export, copy, drag, or share them.

macOS may require Screen Recording or Screen & System Audio Recording permission for screenshot and recording functionality.

ShutterDock uses screen permissions only for user-initiated capture and recording.

Microphone audio is requested only when the user chooses microphone recording.

ShutterDock does not use third-party advertising networks.

ShutterDock does not use third-party analytics services in the current version.

Optional ShutterDock Pro purchase and restore flows are handled by Apple StoreKit.
